On number two we have the Namib Desert, another beautiful desert of Africa. The features of this landscape are similar to that of Mars. It is also known as the oldest desert in the world. You can see the color of the sand changing with the distance from the sea.
Next, we have the Gobi desert, the largest desert in Asia. What makes it different from the other deserts is that it is comparatively cooler. You will even find snow on the sand if you visit in the coldest months. The area is famous for its exotic archeological sources.
Next, we have the Atacama Desert located in Chile. It is said to be the driest place on the earth. Due to the extreme weather conditions, it is difficult for both animals and humans to survive. The place is famous for its mining activities and availability of many minerals. If you are visiting Chile, this desert is a must-visit.
