Many countries have some famous festivals at a certain time of the year when people from different countries visit them. Rubina Ratnakar lists the top five international festivals of the world.

Montreux Jazz Festival of Switzerland is one of the oldest music festivals in the world. This festival takes place in late June or early July. Many musicians perform at the concert and to your delight, some concerts are free of cost.

Mardi Gras of Louisiana is the US version of the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. This festival begins one day before Ash Wednesday and lasts for months. You can enjoy musical events, the Parades, and the famous Balls at the festival.
